Marshall Overcash
SA alum Marshall Overcash took time to meet up with our 7th and 8th grade travelers in Washington, D.C. on their spring trip – a full-circle Jaguar Journey moment. Now a legislative correspondent for Senator Thom Tillis, Marshall is working on healthcare and education policy in his first role after graduating from the University of South Carolina.
He reflected on taking this same trip as a student – “those were the best trips” – and how living and working in D.C. brings new appreciation for the city. Even this week, he shared, he used Latin stems from his SA days in his work.
